Soil: limestone – blue marlstone

Harvest: late September

Vinification: traditional in temperature controlled tanks

Ageing: 6 months in stainless steel tanks

Further ageing: 6 months in the bottle

Sensory characteristics: Bright ruby red colour, intense and assorted scents of fresh fruit and flowers, very winey and fresh. Rich, savoury and velvety palate, medium-bodied. An excellent everyday wine.


This wine is called “Cino” in memory of Lorenzo, the brother of grandfather Giovanni, who everyone in the family used to call Uncle Cino.
A portion of the vineyards that we use to produce this wine once belonged to Uncle Cino.
